Values in a business are just like the ones you have. They guide the decisions we make and attract the right people and opportunities to us. ⠀
You've probably heard people talk about being 'authentic'. Living your values is one of the most powerful ways to do that. Plus, consumers have shifted the way they make purchasing decisions from what they are buying to why they buy it. ❤️⠀
All of our values have truly been tested with COVID-19 and how organisations have responded has been really telling of their brand. @whogivesacraptp was a great example of a brand living their values by donating the bump in panic buying profits (1000% sales increase!) to santitaton charities. 👏 👏 👏⠀
Which all adds up to show the real value of values. 🤙

Exciting news today! 📣 We’re stoked to be shortlisted for the @mumbrella_aus Award for Insight. All thanks to the humble bucket! ⠀
In the midst of last years’ drought our fantastic client @ourhunterwater asked us to help reduce water consumption by 2% per year over 5 years.⠀
We did what we always do, talked to randoms as part of our ‘word on the street’ research. Our insight: everyone thought they were an average user and not the problem.⠀
Our Buckets campaign asked everyone to 'Save your 4', reducing their usage by 40L per day, or… 4 buckets. And with lots of 💪 from the whole team it worked 🙌 💧, consumption reduced by more than 20%, smashing their target.⠀

Hello friends, Kara here! Well we made it to five years, can't hardly believe it! It's a very strange time to be hitting this milestone but as my supportive clients have said, you gotta celebrate the wins right now. 🍾🥳 I started Guts five years ago after having my first boy. Having kids does something weird to you... I decided to use brand strategy not just to sell more stuff but to change the world. I set an ambitious vision that had me sh*tting myself a little and low and behold we hit the target of creating positive change amongst over 1 million people early this year.
Guts is now my third child. Definitely some juggling, challenges, late nights, 'why did I start this?!' moments along the way🙃 but especially right now I feel really lucky to work with incredibly supportive fun clients, really rewarding projects and kick-ass members of team Guts and that's what it's all about.🙏🌈 Thank you to everyone who's been a part of the ride, let's do it all again.
